In the BatteryCityMünster, a center for developing modern and scalable battery cell production, excellent research and know¬ledge transfer to industrial applications are seamlessly intertwined. Pioneering, cutting-edge technologies are being developed here, laying a solid foundation for a sustai¬nable and competitive battery value chain.

The opening of the FFB PreFab on 30 April 2024 marks a significant milestone on the path towards technological sovereignty in Germany’s and Europe’s battery ecosystem.

We are delighted to welcome Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Federal Minister of Education and Research, Hendrik Wüst MP, Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia and the President of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Holger Hanselka, as guests of honor.

In addition to numerous guests from the worlds of politics, business, and research, there will be a festive reception at the “FFB Fab“ and the opportunity to raise a glass to the joint successes made possible by the collaboration.
